Co health is closing three of it's bulk billing clinics which will affect around 12,500 people who rely on these services, and are vulnerable members of the community, including migrants, refugees and public housing tenants. Also many health care workers will lose their jobs.
After years of warnings about underfunding and service cuts, Labor has had a pathetic response to this, saying it's disappointing, and asking the board to review it's decision for the closure.
Labor have the power to stop this, and wont.
It's important we show up to support the community campaign to make sure these community health centres stay open.
