She previously worked for a South African refugee and migrant rights organisation and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) where she served in the Middle East section at the South African Embassy in Algiers. Prior to this Roshan grew up in exile and was an activist in the Anti-Apartheid Movement and PSC UK. Roshan also attended the recent Global Anti Zionist Conference and will report back on this seminal event.
Including Taseen (she/they) speaker from Boycott, Divest, Sanction Youth (BDS Youth) (active in so-called Australia). Taseen has been active in the BDS movement for years, working towards anti-racist collective action, education and community building in Gadigal Country/Sydney. She has worked on several campaigns as a member of BDS Youth.
Plus Rachel Evans, Gadigal Country/Sydney Palestinian solidarity activist with City of Sydney for Palestine, NSW for Palestine and Socialist Alliance organiser. Rachel has organised local council ceasefire and divest campaigns.
