This is a chance to watch the film 'Palestine Under Siege' made by Dare to Struggle Film Project in the iconic North Steyne Surf Life Saving Club - host to the Gaza Surf Life Saving Project. The film-makers will be there for a comprehensive Q&A.

Amnesty International Manly Group will be present with information and petitions on their current campaign on abuses of Palestinian human rights. This film was made just before October 7th 2023.
Following the main film, the Northern Beaches Committee for Palestine hosting the event will also give an update on their Gaza Nippers Project (Gaza Surf Life Saving Project). This set up a partner Surf Lifesaving Club to North Steyne SLC in Gaza, which successfully launched in July 2023 ... a few months before October 7th.
If you choose to donate, your money will go towards helping the 2 Palestinian Surf Lifesavers who learnt how to set up a Nippers program here at North Steyne SLSC, and their families, to leave Gaza. Unfortunately, donations made to this project are not tax deductible, as we do not fit the Australian Tax Office criteria for tax deductibility.
