Please join the Sydney Knitting Nannas & Friends outside the Santos office in Sydney at the same time as the Santos AGM starts in Adelaide.

We’re horrified by Santos plans to wreck the climate, trample the rights of Traditional Owners and destroy precious environments. As one of the world's biggest exporters of gas Australia does not need new gas - we need clean energy.

There'll be songs and talks to brighten up Bligh Street. We'll be telling Santos:

  • We stand with the Gomeroi and Tiwi Islander peoples opposing the Pilliga and Barossa projects
  • We support farmers defending the Liverpool Plains food bowl from gas wells and pipelines
  • The Great Artesian Basin is a precious resource threatened by Santos
  • Barossa gas is the dirtiest of all gas projects
  • We support shareholder activists calling out the Board’s failures
  • Carbon Capture and Storage continues to fail
  • We will never give up. Never ever.
