Join us for a free friendly BBQ in the park. Meet your local council candidates - Renee Lees for Division 7 & Denis Walls for Mayor - and other community-minded people of your neighbourhood.

Renee Lees is a community lawyer, mum of two schoolkids, a volunteer with many local community groups and Edge Hill resident. Denis Walls is an educator, father of two adult sons, successful advocate for our local environment and Whitfield resident. We are running for the upcoming Cairns council elections with CommunityFirst - a passionate bunch of locals looking to make a safer, more sustainable & more vibrant Cairns. We'd love your ideas and support. This is a people-powered campaign and we're keen to involve as many people as possible.
