The Conservation Council of WA are proud to host our Annual Conference for 2021 - A Bold Vision for WA: Conservation, Climate and Communities.

Join us on Friday 24 September at the Bendat Parent and Community Centre in Wembley, right next door to the beautiful Lake Monger.

Building on our ambition plan released earlier this year, our Conference will showcase a new way of thinking that can solve environmental challenges while future-proofing our economy, creating jobs and providing a better quality of life for all West Australians.

Join us to celebrate the work of our member groups and the opportunities for different types of action, cooperation and engagement across all sectors to strategically shift the conversation around environmental issues in WA.

Conference times:

  • Registration: 8:30am
  • Conference: 9:30am - 5pm
  • Sundowner: 5pm - 6pm

More information and confirmed speakers are included in our preliminary program. A full program will be distributed to ticket-holders in September.

Your conference ticket includes access to the full conference and exhibition, catering, entertainment and sundowner, and offsetting our emissions. Plus, there are some incredible raffle prizes from Pippin Drysdale, Wooleen Station, Urban Revolution, Vasse Valley Hemp Farm and EnviroBren.

This is a COVID-Safe event following the latest health advice.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we will be meeting on by Lake Monger (Galup), the Whadjuk Noongar people, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.

This conference is hosted by the Conservation Council of WA, the state’s peak environmental organisation representing more than one hundred environmental groups and members of the conservation community in Western Australia.

We would like to thank Carbon Positive Australia and Wide Open Agriculture for their generous support as sponsors for this event. Carbon Positive Australia is WA-based charity that has been restoring degraded lands through ecologically sensitive planting for the last 20 years. Wide Open Agriculture is Australia's leading regenerative food and agriculture company, that is reinventing the way the world grows, thinks about, and buys food.
