An estimated 10,000 people marched through the CBD that day to call on the government take immediate action to tackle the climate crisis.
The demands of the rally were: No new coal, oil and gas projects, including the Adani mine; 100% renewable energy generation & exports by 2030; and fund a just transition & job creation for all fossil-fuel workers & communities.
