A demonstration by Kurdish community members and friends in Sydney on February 20 highlighted an international campaign calling on the United Nations to prosecute Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for crimes against women in the occupied canton of Afrin (part of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, also known as Rojava).

The campaign aims to collect 100,000 signatures before International Women’s Day on March 8 and has connected 90,000 so far.
