Nearly a year since the Taliban forcibly took over our homeland, the situation in Afghanistan has rapidly deteriorated, with civilian casualties, extrajudicial killings, restrictions on women and girls’ rights, and the targeting and persecution of minorities including Hazaras and Sikhs, being increasingly common.
