Why
Join us for a public forum on why the Social Cohesion Education Hub and other anti-Palestine programs must be scrapped.
The Hub is a $6 million federal government initiative developed without consultation with teachers, teacher unions, curriculum bodies, established anti-racism organisations or significant sections of the Australian Jewish community.
Its resources misrepresent legitimate opposition to Israel and silence criticism of genocide, apartheid and settler colonialism by wrongly conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism.
Nearly 300 teachers have already signed the pledge calling for the Hub to be scrapped, and the NSWTF Inner City Teachers Association has unanimously passed a motion opposing it.
Join us to discuss why these programs have no place in anti-racism education, and what teachers and communities can do to fight back.
