Why
A fun day of kite crafting, kite flying and food! Bring the kids and have fun - all for a good cause.
The event includes: a sausage sizzle, cakes, kite kits for purchase and supplies to decorate your kites.
All proceeds will be going to support the Green Olive Collective's work, helping Palestinians resist Israeli aggression in the West Bank.
This event is co-hosted by PAGC and Amnesty International.
Walk ins are welcome but you are also welcome to RSVP.
Kite safety rules: Kite flying is intended primarily for children. You are welcome to bring your own kites but please note that kites must not exceed 1.5 metres in their largest dimension and must not be designed for traction or lifting. We will have one designated kite flying area, which we will be sharing with other visitors. We are asking people to limit the height of kites to 20 m.
