Why
After 16 year, several iterations, and probably a couple hundred gigs.... The collective known as Animal House and later as Rewind is being booted from their building. Given only 30 days notice to get out, this will be the final ever gig!
An all day event, come and get rowdy one more time before one of the countries longest running DIY spaces is washed away in a tide of gentrification.
The space has meant many things to many people. Different communities have come and gone through the space, but this gig is a chance to bring diverse circles together for one last party.
Starting at midday and running through till 10pm.
Tickets available from Humanitix. Tickets will also be available on the door.
Free entry for First Nations People, no one turned away for lack of funds.
Event profits are split 50/50 between bands and rewind to help rewind move out of the space.
This event takes place on the stolen land of the Kaurna People, sovereignty has never been ceded, Always was Always will be.
