Why
Come join us at our peaceful rally to call on the ACT government to fund Yerrabi Yurwang Health.
Our Aboriginal Community is being left behind when it comes to closing the health gap.
The data is appalling.
We want to play an active role to work collaboratively with the ACT Government and others to improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
As previously mentioned, Yerrabi Yurwang would like to let our Community know that Yerrabi Yurwang Health operations will pause from Wednesday 2 April 2026.
We will be actively assisting our clients with referral pathways from this time, as we are well aware that we have a duty of care to them.
We are hopeful that in the near future, ACT Health may be willing to be responsive to the appalling health data that exists for Aboriginal People in the ACT.
Those gaps will not close if we all don't work together to effect the change that we all want to see, particularly us as Aboriginal People for our next generations.
We look forward to welcoming the service back as soon as we can acquire vital health funding.
We will continue to keep Community updated as more information becomes available.
