Why
A shared space.
You are invited to enter gently.
This exhibition gathers voices from Palestine, the Palestinian diaspora, and those who have chosen to remain present.
It is not an argument. It is not a spectacle. It is a space to feel and reflect.
Some works may ask you to slow down. Some may feel heavy. Each carries a story shaped by love, loss, memory, endurance, hope and connection.
Sumud is often translated as steadfastness, and here, it is felt in the protection of family, in the preservation of culture, of belonging, in the quiet refusal to be erased. It lives in everyday gestures of care, solidarity and reflection.
To bear witness is to stay. To listen. To allow what is revealed to matter. And to bear the weight of responsibility to respond with care.
This exhibition asks only that you come with openness, and leave with a deeper awareness of our shared humanity, of what it means to hold one another in times of fracture, and of what is at risk when compassion is lost.
