House hoarders stole your future. Someone at your next family gathering will probably defend them. This training gives you the language & the facts to counter every tired talking point, understand how government policy created this crisis, and know what needs to change.
Right now, 30% of Australian residential dwellings are considered 'property investments' when they should be forever homes for families. The government hands house hoarders $20 billion in tax breaks every year, money that could fund public housing instead.
This training gives you the language to reframe the housing crisis. We're teaching people to redirect anger away from scapegoats and toward the decision-makers and house hoarders responsible.
House hoarding doesn't just steal your future, it steals our communities. Teachers, nurses, essential workers get priced out. We lose culture, resilience, and social fabric. Young people can't stay. Older people watch communities hollow out.
What you'll learn:
- How to counter every tired talking point - "negative gearing helps renters" (it doesn't - rents have risen faster in areas with more investors), or "just work harder" (house prices have risen 1000% since the 90s while wages stagnated), or "it's supply and demand" (we have enough homes, they're just distributed for greed, not need)
- How John 'the Grinch' Howard's 1999 tax changes deliberately created this crisis - Policy decisions that turned housing from a right into an investment vehicle
- What actually needs to change and how we get there - End the $20 billion handout to property investors, redirect it to Housing First public housing programs, and build the political pressure to make Albanese, Chalmers, and O'Neil act
Holiday dinners start in 2 weeks. Don't sit there silently fuming while house hoarders get defended. Get trained to win the argument and build the movement where everybody gets a house.
