EMERGENCY PROTEST: STAND WITH THE GLOBAL SUMUD FLOTILLA

Come ready to make some noise – bring pots & pans, whatever you have.

Several Australian citizens are participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla, and our government must act!

Protect our community members! Surya McEwan, Hamish Paterson, Juliet Lamont, Bianca Webb-Pullman, Abubakir Mohammad Rafiq and Daniel Coward face impending attacks by the IDF.

This comes after Israel launched its ground invasion of Gaza City, encircling the captive population and committing some of the deadliest air strikes yet. The murder and mass displacement of Palestinians from their homes continues at an unprecedented rate.

We cannot allow the Labor Party to continue with symbolic action while materially supporting Israel and the genocide in Gaza. While Australia recognised Palestinian Statehood, they made a 10 million dollar deal with Israeli arms company Elbit, and continue to send Israel F35 components used by the IDF to carry out war crimes. Australia's complicity must end!

We must demand that the Australian government does everything in its power to ensure the safety of our community members and all people participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla, and impose sanctions on Israel for committing genocide in Gaza.

All eyes on the Flotilla, all eyes on Gaza in the coming hours and days.

Surya, Hamish and Juliet are travelling on the Wahoo, visible on the livestream: https://globalsumudflotilla.org/live/

From the river to the sea, Palestine can be, must be, and will be free
