Meanjin Solidarity Fund and Meanjin People's Pride are coming together for a film screening of protest film: Hating Peter Tatchell.

This event will also include a fundraiser for MPP's upcoming PRIDE event at the end of the month.

We'll be serving up some hot vegan food on the night - dinner is FREE or by donation to MPP. GF options!

Screening will be followed by in-person Q&A with the producer/director, Chris Amos.

About the film

This documentary follows the controversial gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell whose provocative acts of civil disobedience revolutionised attitudes amid political turmoil.

Accessibility

Entrance is via a short steep driveway which may be hard to enter without assistance. There is a toilet downstairs but not accessible by a wheelchair. The closest accessible toilets are next door at Coles.

This event is taking place on the stolen lands of the Jaggera & Turrbal peoples. Always was, always will be aboriginal land.
