Video: Sydney protest demands justice for assassinated Kurdish activists

Members of Sydney's Kurdish community and their supporters held a peaceful protest outside the French Consulate on January 9 to call for justice for Kurdish activists assassinated in Paris by the Turkish state.

Leading Kurdish activists Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez were assassinated on January 9, 2013 and, Emine Kara (Evîn Goyî), Mir Perwer (Mehmet Şirin Aydın) and Abdurahman Kizil were assassinated on December 23 last year.
