Why

Find out about Woolloomooloo's radical history.

First Nations resistance, the militant class struggle events, women and queer organising, public housing battles and the Green Bans. All the people's history excluded from the annals of public memory because they challenge the order of colonial, then capitalist, governments.

This expedition will stop at Aboriginal rebel sites, the Green Bans, discover the story of murdered journalist Juanita Neilson, convict organising sites and touch on the rich union history of the area.

The tour will be taken by activist journalist Tracey Carpenter and a local resident. Organised by Green Left.

Tickets: $10/$15/$22/$50. Book online or pay with cash or card on the day. All proceeds to Green Left.
