There is an increased recognition internationally that Israel is an apartheid state whose foundation rests on the continued oppression of Palestinians. Gaza has been an open-air prison for the Palestinian people for over 16 years. As their indiscriminate killing continues, there is still no worldwide condemnation of the injustice of the illegal occupation of Palestine.
Palestinian trade unions are urging the international labour movement to take action in support of the Palestinian-led movement against Israeli occupation, colonisation and apartheid.
