Protesters held a small but vocal protest outside a US Chamber of Commerce in Australia luncheon on February 15. The keynote (virtual) speaker, Kurt Campbell, deputy assistant to the president and coordinator for Indo-Pacific affairs, US National Security Council, was mounting a pitch to sell AUKUS military-industrial projects to warmongers.

The Independent and Peaceful Australia Network said it was “noticeable how many representatives of Adelaide's moral-free universities came along”. “You can be sure, though, they were told how shameful their blood-for-profit attendance was.”
