Palestinian-Australian doctor Noor Aljassim addressed a May 5 protest outside the Australian College of Anaesthetist’s annual conference where Zionist anaesthesiologist Professor Carolyn Weinger was given a platform.
Israel has indiscriminately slaughtered medical professionals and patients, destroyed more than 26 medical facilities and continues to blockade medical supplies.
Gazans are undergoing procedures, from caesarean sections to amputations, without anaesthesia.
But Weinger has shared posts on her X page that include: anti-Palestinian racism; objections to a ceasefire; justification for Israel’s bombing of Gaza’s hospitals; suggestions that humanitarian aid for civilians should be conditional; and denying that there is a lack of anaesthesia in Gaza.
