Video: Hiroshima Day rally calls on Albanese to scrap AUKUS, sign treaty against nuclear arms

A rally in Sydney on August 6 to mark 77 years since the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki called on the Anthony Albanese Labor government to scrap the AUKUS nuclear-powered submarines deal and to sign the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

It was addressed by Reverend Ray Minniecom, Gem Romuld from the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, NSW Greens Senator David Shoebridge and Nick Deane from the Sydney Anti-AUKUS Coalition. It was MCed by Pip Hinman from Sydney Stop The War Coalition.
