First Nations people and Pacific islanders front and centre in COP26 march

November 7, 2021

Up to 2000 people took part in the #COP26 climate action march in Sydney on November 6. Concerns over COVID-19 limited the numbers but this was the biggest march in Sydney since the latest COVID-19 lockdown was lifted just a couple of weeks ago. First Nations and Pacific islander voices were front and centre and PM Scott Morrison's Coalition government's climate rogue stance was roundly condemned.
