Why

Join us for an inspiring evening of grassroots storytelling, community courage and climate justice.

"Voices for the Valley" is a powerful documentary that tells the story of the small but mighty community of Wollar, NSW — a town under threat from coal expansion. With courage and unity, these locals are rising up against the state’s largest coal mine to protect their land, livelihoods and future generations.

After the screening, you'll hear from incredible speakers on the frontlines of climate action and take action together by writing submissions to stop this coal expansion.

This is your chance to stand in solidarity and take meaningful, tangible climate action.

🧡 Why Attend?

  • Witness the lived experience of coal-affected communities

  • Be moved by courageous storytelling and community resilience
