PENRITH — The outer Sydney centre of Penrith had its biggest demonstration in years on September 17, when 1500 workers rallied to protest against Nick Greiner's industrial legislation and to express their solidarity with the workers at Vista, who have been on the grass for 30 weeks.

At the rally $8000 collected from inner-city building sites was handed over to the Vista strike fund. Afterwards 600 marched the five kilometres out to the Vista picket at Emu Plains. Photo by Gail Lord.
