The Alliance Against Political Persecutions (AAPP) organised a protest outside the United States Embassy on January 31 to call on US Ambassador Caroline Kennedy to intercede on behalf of Julian Assange.

AAPP also reported Rex Patrick’s findings through a freedom of information request that there is no evidence that the Labor government is pressing for Assange’s release from Belmarsh Prison.

The documents showed no sign the Albanese government has lobbied the US to bring Assange home.
