Why

Join us for an on-water and beach protest on Yarra Bay beach to protest the NSW Government's and Royal Caribbean's proposal to build a cruise terminal in Botany Bay.

The Final Business Case will be completed and a decision will be made by Cabinet in the middle of the year. We only have a few months to make our voices heard! It is now or never to fight for the bay!

The aim will be to cover the whole Bay with anything that floats! Boats, kayaks, canoes, yachts, inflatables, surfboards, Dinghies, tinnier, dragon boats, swan boats, boogie boards ---- ANYTHING that is safe! Those that don't like the water can bring signs, towels, tents and umbrellas to contribute to a beach installation.

We ask that anyone who plans to bring a boat on the day to register with their name, email/mobile, boat type/size, where they plan to launch from and call sign at Flotilla_registration@outlook.com We will create a register and a plan to manage bigger boats on the day!

The day will culminate in a photo/drone capture at 1pm when all the pleasure craft are on the water and in place. Don’t forget the towel display on the beach!

After a few words from our local leaders we will blast the Bay with the sound of horns, whistles, drums, anything that makes a noise! Please bring some along!

If the weather is bad, we may shift the event so please follow our social media and website for updates.
