Why

Over the past three months, Israel has killed more than 25,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including more than 10,000 children. Ninety percent of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents have been made homeless.
Meanwhile Palestinians in the West Bank face daily attacks from the IDF and settlers, with hundreds killed. Israel’s politicians are determined to create a new Nakba, replicating the catastrophe of 1948. This is a genocide that our politicians refuse to name and condemn, even when recognised as such by the International Court of Justice. This weekend also marks the anniversary of the colonisation of Australia and the beginning of a genocide against Aboriginal people. We stand in solidarity with the struggles of all Indigenous peoples for land and for justice.
