"The main purpose of our operation [in the West Bank refugee camps] is to kill armed Palestinians who stand up to fight against us. We have already killed at least 20." — Brigadier-General Gershon Yitzchak, commander of Israeli military forces on the West Bank, March 1. Among the 20 Palestinians killed were 7-year-old Ibrahim Talalqa, 10-year-old Mariya Abu Siriya, 11 year-old Iyad al-Sabagh and 60-year-old Mahmoud Alloush.
