Leave the Gas in the Ground - Rally Against Fracking

The No New Gas Coalition in response to the governments fracking the Beetaloo decision, invites Territorians and visitors to participate in a Territory wide Day of Action on June 17. We plan peaceful, family friendly events in Darwin, Nhulunbuy, Katherine, Borroloola, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs and other places.

We will celebrate our beautiful climate while we still have it, and call on the government to end all plans to release climate destroying gases. The Darwin event will be held on the Esplanade from 5pm until dusk. It will be a peaceful celebration of our beautiful Dry season. Bring your family and friends and a shared picnic. There will be fun activities, a few speakers and a choir.
