Why

Water is life. But right now, frackers are moving in on Western Australia and the Northern Territory. And with politicians dragging their feet, water is at risk of being poisoned before they move to protect it.

Join us to hear from experts, campaigners, and organisers to find out how together, we can build a grassroots movement here in Sydney to Fix Our Climate Laws and keep our water and climate safe from fracking corporations.

If fracking corporations have their way, tens of thousands of wells will be drilled, leaking toxic ‘forever’ chemicals into our groundwater and releasing millions of tonnes of climate pollution.

The Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek has promised to put stronger water protections in our national environment laws – but not until next year, when the damage could already have been done.

The Minister has the option to introduce stronger water protections right now. If she does, we can delay – or even stop – some of these fracking projects.

RSVP now so we can cater for you, and invite your friends!
