Backward, Christian Soldiers

By Rosemary Evans

(To be sung very loudly)

Backward, Christian soldiers,

Now your war is done.

Backward, Egypt, Saudis,

Your gamble's been won.

Home, Yanks, to Mom's apple pie,

And Los Angeles,

Where you can bash helpless black men

With clubs at your ease.

Backward, Yankee pilots,

Terribly gung ho.

"Collateral damage"

All around you throw.

Backward, all the Yankees

Who have fought for oil,

And who've never heard a bomb fall

On their native soil.

Leave the Middle East alone

America the brave!

No more stars and stripes, please,

No more lands to "save".
