Fun-Raiser for the Forests – SAVE MOUNT CORAMBA!
Come on down to the Coramba Hall for an epic night in support of our local forest! There will be music, dancing, connection, delicious food and a silent auction fundraiser.
This fundraiser is to support the community of people who walked into an active logging coupe in Orara East State Forest in June and are now facing unprecedented oppression from the NSW police, and towards the continued fight for protection for Mount Coramba.
While politicians continue to stall the long-promised Great Koala National Park, the forests within its proposed boundaries are being destroyed.
This night is for those of you who care - who might not be able to join the frontline but want to connect with and support those who are taking action to protect our native forests from destruction. This is your night folks! Dust off your blundstones.... bring your friends and your love for the forest!
This event will be held on the unceded lands and waters of the Gumbaynggirr Nation. We acknowledge the genocide committed against the Gumbaynggirr people - the stolen lives, lands, and culture - and honour their survival, resistance, and unbroken connection to Country.
