Why

Join us this Saturday 2nd November at 1PM for the opening of the Sydney Basin Tent Embassy. We are located at the historic embassy site in Victoria Park (more details on how to get here coming soon).
This is a picnic in the park event - so bring a feed, a picnic blanket and anyone who is committed to true and long term commitment to sovereignty and land back.

There will be an opening and smoking ceremony at 1pm so do not be late. The embassy caretakers have been given permission and blessings by Traditional Owners who will be joining us on the day.

🚫 No Alcohol or Illegal Substances. The embassy and the park are both sober zones and we do not tolerate the use of drugs/alcohol.

🚫 No stalls, flyering or other organisation promo may take place unless given explicitly permission by embassy caretakers.

✊ This event is open to all people who would like to support the embassy and grassroots, Blakfulla resistance. Visitors who aren’t commited to what the embassy stands for should not attend. We highly recommend doing some reading on the history of the Aborignal Embassy before attending.

Please also share our current embassy fundraiser and support if you have the means. The embassy is committed to community resources and mutual aid and will practice these alongside fundraising.

Please follow the @sydtentembassy page for upcoming events, any reminders and urgent callouts.
