Hiroshima Day — Newcastle

Unveiling of Hunter Peace Park. It's at Tighes Hill Reserve on Maitland Rd Islington (opp entrance to Tighes Hill TAFE).

The Hunter Peace Group have campaigned for the Park. They will host the following speakers:

• Fred Krauser (MUA Veterans)
• Maxine Sharkey General Secretary NSW Teachers' Federation.
• Matthew and Cathy Clarke aka Two Voices in the Crowd, a wonderful folk duo, will be singing inspiring peace songs and the Newcastle's Peoples' Chorus.
