Protest Israel's Massacre in Gaza!
Murray Street Mall, Perth CBD @ 11:00am
The state of Israel is seeking to wipe Gaza off the map. The Israeli war on occupied Gaza has to date resulted in the killing of 470 and wounding of more than 3600 Palestinians. At dawn on Sunday, 20 July, more than 70 civilians were killed - 80% of them children - according to the Gaza ministry of health.
Israeli targets have included homes, mosques, schools, ambulances, a rehabilitation hospital and infrastructure facilities, such as power and water treatment plants. Drinking water is now scarce and 80% of the Gaza Strip faces a power blackout. More than 700 homes have been destroyed and over 1000 damaged.
The Australian government and US governments have both supported Israel, claiming the terrorist state is exercising its “right to self-defence".
Friends of Palestine WA stands with the people of Gaza and calls on the Australian government to condemn Israel's war crimes. We demand the Australian government impose diplomatic and trade sanctions on Israel. We call for support for the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign.
Join us again on Saturday July 26 to protest Israel's massacre of Gaza
