Why

Silent, candlelight vigil for Palestine, Wednesday 6 August, 5-6pm. Steps of Parliament House, Adelaide (on Kaurna Yerta).

Join us for our fortnightly vigil in solidarity with Palestine. It is more important than ever that we continue to show up in support of peace, Palestinian independence, and an end to the genocide.

Wear black. Bring your flags, banners, candles (fake flame only please!), and your friends. All gender identities are welcome (keeping in mind that Women in Black is a feminist organization with female-led and female-centred values).

We are a peaceful movement, so no antisemitic, pro-Nazi, anti-Islamic, anti-Palestine, violent or hateful rhetoric or content will be permitted at our events.

There are no speeches, drums, or shouting so our vigils are accessible for those with sensory needs as well (headphones are welcomed).

For scheduling and location updates check the Facebook event.
