Community opposition is key to showing our representatives and the Planning Minister Richard Wynne that we don't want or need this terminal.
The terminal will subject the residents of Geelong to additional risk, endanger the health of the bay and is a fossil fuel project that our climate cannot tolerate.
We need to show Viva and the government that we don't want or need a gas terminal - and we want investment in renewables instead.
Rally will start in the Lt Malop Street Mall at 11am, walk through the city and finish at Steampacket Gardens. There will be expert speakers and other activities to participate in. Bring your signs and voices to show your opposition to the project!
