Why

The higher education sector in NSW is in crisis. Up to 1,500 jobs are being slashed at six universities, with librarians and lecturers to IT and student support staff being targeted.

While staff are cut and courses disappear, Vice Chancellors and corporate consultants meet behind closed doors to decide the sector’s future without consulting those who are at the heart of our universities- students, and the staff that keep these institutions running.

Unions NSW be standing with NTEU New South Wales to rally against these cuts
