Bring ya mates for an evening of music and community at The Lass and pay it forward for January 26!

Now, more than ever, we need to create safe spaces for First Nations folks to be on Survival Day.

This event will help by raising money to make AwabaMi Festival a reality in Mulubinba / Newy.

Led by proud Awabakal/Geawegal woman and Justice Aunties founder, Aunty Tracey, Newcastle’s own Day of Mourning event will evolve into AwabaMi Festival in 2024. An inclusive event bringing together Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, the aim of AwabaMi is to reflect, respect, and celebrate ancient and modern culture, and our shared pasts, presents, and futures.

/ 3pm doors / 4pm start
