Why

Join us to commemorate one year on after the Monsoon Revolution in Bangladesh.

Together with community groups and members of the Bangladeshi community, we will come together to recognise the strength and courage of the ongoing struggle for democracy, justice and the fundamental rights of the people of Bangladesh. Hear from speakers about the pathway to genuine democracy, justice and lasting peace in Bangladesh.

The event will also act as an opportunity to come together to honour and pay tribute to all those who lost their lives in Bangladesh during the uprising, and celebrate the spirit of resilience that continues to inspire the global movement for justice and democracy.

Please note this event is open to all members of the Bangladeshi diaspora as well as allies, and is intended as a safe space for dialogue and discussion.
