Why

Over the past decade an incredible shift has occurred in public and political opinion on climate in Australia. The vast majority of the public, politicians, and companies are now on the side of acknowledging climate change as a serious problem that requires action.

We saw it recently with our own incredible win: we stopped NAB and 12 other banks from providing a $1 BILLION loan to Whitehaven Coal. This would not have been possible a mere decade ago.

Our movement is powerful, and it’s time to plan our next steps. RVSP here.

Move Beyond Coal team members will be coming together, in-person, to plan the next steps for our movement.

We will be reconnecting face-to-face to:

  • Share our vision for the next stage of Move Beyond Coal
  • Connect with the injustices we are fighting and the solidarity we are building
  • Discuss and cement our strategy for the next 6-12 months
  • Build momentum towards a mobilisation!

This event is for core leaders of Move Beyond Coal groups and representatives from key partner groups who we collaborate on Move Beyond Coal with. RSVP here.

This event is free for all to attend. If you would like to chip in to support our movement, you can donate here.
