A large vigil and march was organised in Meanjin/Brisbane on September 18 to mark the death in police custody of Aboriginal woman Sherry Fisher-Tilberoo.

Aunty Sherry was found dead in a cell in the watch-house on September 10.

She was on remand; she had not been convicted of committing a crime.

The custody officer has only been suspended.
