Why

Have you ever wanted to try non-violent direct action (NVDA)?

Join us for a half-day introduction to all you need to know to join Bob Brown Foundation on the frontlines!

This will be the first introduction to NVDA session offered in South Australia and is especially aimed at anyone who is keen to mobilise and join the frontlines of forest defence in Lutruwita / Tasmania.

🗓️  Saturday 23 August

🕐  10 am- 1 pm: Introduction to NVDA Training (with a tea break)
🕐  1-2 pm: (optional) Join the BBF Adelaide Community for a potluck lunch and get to know forest defenders and activists based on Kaurna Land.

Venue accessibility

The session will be held at the Joinery's main exhibition space and seminar room. This space is wheelchair accessible; however, the toilets (for all genders) are not. The main space has linoleum flooring and the seminar room has even carpeted flooring. There will be a PowerPoint used for the Intro to NVDA session at the front of the room on a projector. The main space is large and can be loud or echo-y. If you have any accessibility needs, please don't hesitate to get in contact.
