Why

For the first time in Australia, renowned Palestinian psychiatrist, author, and human rights advocate Dr. Samah Jabr will be joined by local experts for an interdisciplinary seminar exploring the intersections of trauma, collective resilience, and mental health.

This evening will focus on the peripartum period, self-care in clinical practice, and the psychological impacts of conflict zones, offering insight for professionals working in health, mental health, social care, and advocacy. The event forms part of Dr. Jabr’s Australia and New Zealand tour ahead of the official launch of her new book, Radiance in Pain & Resilience.

This is a unique opportunity for professional development, connection, and solidarity in a critical conversation on mental health and liberation.
