As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen for more than a year and a half, have you been feeling heartbroken but powerless? Have you been feeling angry but alone?
Join us at this year's "Gig for Gaza", and you'll be reminded that you are not powerless, and you are not alone. โ๐ปโ๐ฝโ๐ฟ
Last year, more than 200 of us came together at the Kuranda Amphitheatre's little pavilion area to fundraise for humanitarian aid for Gaza. ๐ถ๐๐ถ
This year's gig will be even bigger and better! ๐ The music will be on the MAIN STAGE of the Amphitheatre ๐ฏ, and we'll also have fire-twirling ๐ฅ, Bugzy Bumblebee's giant bubbles show ๐ซง, free face-painting ๐ฅณ, speeches by Palestinians ๐ต๐ธ, delicious food ๐ and drinks at the bar! ๐ป๐น(Yup, this year's event is fully licensed!)
We have an amazing line-up this year: Mau Power x DJ Vix, Lucy Gallant, Phat Love, Mojito, Bala Kaijo, JC (Funkdafied) Rainforest Rhythm, YIRGJHILYA, Satoshi, Stepaside and stand-up comedian Jay Wymarra!๐
Just as last year, all performers and organisers are volunteering their time for this event๐ฅฒ, and every cent of the proceeds will to directly to provided urgently needed humanitarian aid in Gaza. ๐ ๐ฅ ๐ฉบ
Come show your solidarity and blow some steam off with a day full of awesome tunes! This is a family-friendly event that goes well into the night for the real party lovers! Let the future generations see that we were on the right side of history here in FNQ! ๐ค โฎ ๐ต๐ธ
