Why

Sales from tickets will be raising funds for Nagham of Gaza, a play by Ala'a Al Qaisi.

There will also be light refreshments and a fundraising stall by Newcastle Mums for Palestine raising funds for families in Gaza.

Nagham of Gaza will be a heartfelt theatrical production based on the true story of Nagham Abu Samra, a talented karate champion whose dreams of representing Palestine on the global stage were tragically cut short.

This extraordinary project chronicles Nagham’s journey as a symbol of resilience, breaking barriers as a martial artist and advocate for women’s empowerment in Gaza. Her story is a testament to the courage and strength of Palestinians amidst unimaginable challenges.

Why Fundraise?

Your support will help Ala'a complete this important project, bringing Nagham’s legacy to life and raising awareness about the ongoing Palestinian struggles.

Together, we can honour Nagham's memory and strengthen the Palestinian narrative which has been suppressed, silenced and ignored by all media platforms.
