Why

On Saturday the 18th September, at the Fern Tree Arts Hall! The Housing Alliance lutruwita/Tasmania are holding a fundraiser and get-together. Let's all make some art, have some food, hear some bands and talk about the housing crisis in lutruwita/Tasmania and what we can do together to end it.

Everyone is invited! All are welcome, especially those who believe that housing is a human right and not a commodity for profit. Please come in the spirit of Respect and Solidarity.
There will be banner painting (+ zine writing and badge making) and anyone who has a good space to put it up can take a banner home with them and fly it high with pride.

Along with the lovely bunch at The Arts Hall, the artists who will be donating their time to the cause will include: Daarsya & Luke, Rivulet, Slumber, brenda and The Huskees. Thanks to all these beautiful living creatures.

There will also be a discussion over dinner on the issues, the solutions and how best to spend the funds raised: more banners? Add in the dirty Mercury? Or something a little more creative?

Please come along; make some art and make some noise!
