Why

In this talk Professor Mazin Qumsiyeh explains why and how the colonization of Palestine and its transformation from a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural multi-religious state to make it a "Jewish state" led to destruction of human and natural communities. Over the past 76 years and especially the past few months, ethnic cleansing and genocide accelerated, Qumsiyeh offers an analysis rooted in comparative analysis (including other colonial situations) of symptoms and diagnosis leading to therapy and prognosis for our connected planet. He articulates how working for environmental justice and for human rights is key to peace and sustainability and not just in Western Asia but globally.
